50,000 years before revival
“Look at this peaceful place…”
“The Eastern Expanse”
“Is that what its called now?”, I asked myself.
“Yeah beautiful isn’t it? How the world has changed since then. I wish I could see this with my own eyes”, a voice said in my head.
“When will this cycle end? When will I be free from this curse?”, I asked.
“Soon…”, the voice reminded me. “For the first second time they’ll be born in the same place”, it said.
“Hope so…”
“In a few thousand years probably.”, the voice said
“Hmm… I guess its time to find more sacrifices”, I said.
“Eclipse…when light collides with darkness”
“Time Po…”
“We need some aggressive ones this time”, interrupted a man who was wearing a suit and a black mask with blue eyes.
His name is Vector Priest but I called him Vector.
“Yes, did you find any one interesting Vector?”
“I have a few in mind. But I am not sure if giving them powers would be the best idea, wouldn’t activating their abilities be enough?”, Vector said
“Its no fun without problems is it?”
“I’ll ask Ibuki to play a game with them.”, Vector said
“Find their roots once you are done. I’ll plant my powers in them”
I left to prepare for the battle that wouldn’t come for 50000 years. Was it a waste of time? Absolutely! At least I got to explore this world and know the battlefield.
4000 years before revival, Brighton
“Did I lose control over their abilities? It’s almost like they’ve been using them since birth”
“Want me to kill them all?”, Ibuki asked
“No let them go wild. But still I though I had suppressed their abilities enough”
“That one!”
“The one with the green eyes! She looks interesting”
“Not yet!”, the voice inside my head said
“So she’s the one huh? Do I take care of it?”, Vector asked
“Not yet”
20 years before revival
“Vector, this world is the perfect battlefield! I am glad I came here”
“This world has something I want. Something that will change the tide of all wars.”
“What is it?”, Vector asked
“I’ll show once I get it. I need to be born in this world for it.”
“I want this man to meet this woman coincidentally and fall in love with her.”
“This woman is literally on the opposite side of the planet.”, said Vector.
“They will meet. They are going to marry and have exactly one child after 2 years. When the child is 5 years old, the family will have an accident, and only the child will survive.”
“I think I’m gonna take a long break maybe 7 years…”, said Vector before he left.
“Good”, I said as I chuckled.
“Those sacrifices will join you as Guardians ”
